The following errors in the textbook The Theory of Interest need to be corrected:

 

(1) The left side of formula (4.31a) on page 134 needs to be changed from “ i + i/ ” to “ 1 + i/ ”.

 

(2) The last term in the formula immediately above formula (4.38) on page 138 needs to be changed

(3) Immediately above formula (5.11) on page 173, the exponent of the terms in the summation from t=1 to t=n needs to be changed from “n–1” to “n–t”.

(5) The answer to Chapter 3 Exercise #38 needs to be changed in the back of the text from 14.5 to 13.37543.
